Business Analyst
It was a good experience, with some easy behavioral questions. There were also some technical questions that could stump you if you're not ready. The main thing is to be confident with your answers and don't get stuck on questions you don't know; you can always recover with the next one.
- How do you explain technical concepts to people who don't have a technical background?
Sales Associate
So for the L.L.Bean sales associate job, you start with an online application, then they'll give you a call to screen you, and if that goes well, you'll have an in-person or virtual chat. They wanna see how you handle customers, if you're a team player, and if you're into the whole outdoor vibe they have. If they like you, they'll do a background check and then make you an offer.
- Can you share an instance where you exceeded expectations to assist a customer? What was your approach and the result?
FP&A Analyst
So the process started with a recruiter call, then a phone screen where they asked some basic accounting questions. They also asked about my familiarity with Excel, R, and any other statistical software. Then there were a lot of behavioral questions like why I want to work at L.L. Bean, what my future plans are, and how I can add unique value to the L.L.Bean intern cohort. The final stage was an onsite interview.
- Can you tell us about your upbringing and background?
