So for the L.L.Bean sales associate job, you start with an online application, then they'll give you a call to screen you, and if that goes well, you'll have an in-person or virtual chat. They wanna see how you handle customers, if you're a team player, and if you're into the whole outdoor vibe they have. If they like you, they'll do a background check and then make you an offer.

So, there were like 10 of us, and everyone was dressed super casual, like khakis and a polo. We all sat around a circle with the three interviewers. They even had us set up a tent in the middle of it all, which I guess was to see how we worked together and maybe to chill us out a bit. It lasted about 1.5 hours, and if you got called out, you probably didn't get the job 'cause they were hiring right then and there. They really cared about customer service, your personal sports stuff, and how you'd make a sale.

So, there was this group thing where we all watched a video from l.l. Bean. After that, I had my own interview, and they asked pretty standard questions about the outdoors and the store. They also asked about different scenarios that might come up day-to-day. I'm supposed to hear back from them next week via phone call.
