The interview process kicked off with a recruiter screen, followed by an interview with the hiring manager, and then an interview with the senior vice president. The final round was supposed to be a sales role-playing interview, which sounded pretty cool. I really liked the recruiter and everyone else I met, but they totally ghosted me after my third round. I followed up a bunch, but no response, which was super disappointing and felt pretty disrespectful. Sadly, those negative Glassdoor reviews might be right. In my opinion, if a company can't even be bothered to reject you properly, it's not a place worth working for.

It took a while to get a response after applying for a few roles. Eventually, I had a phone call with a recruiter. They started by giving a brief overview of the company, the current state of the role and team, and their future needs for this position, then asked me to introduce myself. The recruiter seemed genuinely happy about their long tenure at Komodo, which was a good sign. Next, I had a Zoom interview with the hiring manager. After answering some behavioral questions, she mentioned she had only been hired 3 months prior and couldn't detail how their product contributes to the company's mission or the results from their healthcare data analysis. She suggested asking co-workers about that in the next interview, which felt like a bit of a red flag. The following week, I got an email from the recruiter stating they were seeking someone with more specific experience. I was left feeling uncertain about the company's actual achievements. The CX team appears to be in the early stages of defining their tools and processes, which is typically already established elsewhere.

I applied and about a week later, I heard back via email to pick a time for a 30-minute call with the recruiter. We chatted about the company generally, what the role entails, my interest, and how the interviews would go. Sadly, I got a rejection about 2 weeks after that. The recruiter call was actually really nice though. He was very chill and made me feel comfortable.

Had a 30-minute recruiter phone screen, then spoke with the hiring manager. They mentioned the job description changed before interviews and apologized for the delay, saying they were really impressed with my resume. The hiring manager mentioned I was the fifth person they'd interviewed that day, which was a bit unexpected, before we talked about the role, the company, and some joint projects. Unfortunately, I didn't get an offer. When I asked the recruiter for feedback, they ghosted me. It felt like there might be some internal issues and maybe they have a specific type of candidate they're looking for.
