First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ketchum.
Assistant Account Executive
I had a call with a recruiter and then met with different people on the team. The meetings with the team were pretty chill and just conversational. The recruiter, though, didn't seem to know much about the job, the team, or even the industry. After that, he kept me hanging for weeks with my follow-up emails and then totally ghosted me. It was a terrible experience because the recruiter was so bad at communicating and didn't seem to care at all.

Fellow
I went through 3 interviews. First, I spoke with HR, and then I met with members of the two teams I would be joining. They asked really basic, formulaic questions. Make sure to prepare your own questions for them. The interviewers from the teams didn't seem super enthusiastic about interviewing me, though.

Analyst, Insights & Research
Applied through LinkedIn on 9/30, reached out to school alum who passed my resume to HR. HR scheduled a call for 10/25 at noon. HR said the call went great and I'd get a response from the hiring team before noon the next day. I didn't get a response from HR until 5pm the next day (10/26) saying, "some members of the team have been OOO, will get back tomorrow morning." That was the last email HR sent, she began to ghost me. I sent follow up emails on 10/27, 10/28, 11/2, all were ignored. What a waste of time.

Social Media Executive
It was a pretty straightforward 3-stage interview process that took about 2 weeks. The first thirty minute call was to see if I was a good fit. The second stage was an hour long and covered general questions about my past roles and experiences, and how I handle work and tasks. The final stage involved a presentation on social media aspects, campaigns, and some case studies. Even though I followed up by email with my presentation after the interview, I haven't heard back in 4 weeks, which feels like being ghosted. I didn't even get any feedback despite putting in a lot of work.
