I went through 3 interviews. First, I spoke with HR, and then I met with members of the two teams I would be joining. They asked really basic, formulaic questions. Make sure to prepare your own questions for them. The interviewers from the teams didn't seem super enthusiastic about interviewing me, though.

This was a really long and drawn out interview process with tons of rounds. First, there was this online game where you had to create different campaigns for different products. After that, I had a phone interview. I think there was another interview after that, either video or in-person, but I got rejected after the phone interview. They made me wait a lot between each step. I put a lot of work and energy into the first round and did really well, so I thought I would move on easily. But the phone interview was super awkward. Even though I thought I was ready, some of the questions threw me off.

We kick off by reviewing your cover letter and resume. Then, we have this super unique and engaging game called 'LaunchPad' for our Summer Fellows Program. It's pretty cool. You'll set up an anonymous profile and tackle two marketing challenges: one strategic and one creative, based on briefs for two companies. You get 3 days for this. After that, the 'interactive' part kicks in. You'll need to check out, comment on, and vote for other applicants' responses to earn points. The ones with the most points move on. About a month after playing LaunchPad, a recruiter contacted me to schedule a phone interview. It felt intense, quick, and pretty impersonal. The interviewer was blunt and brief, which didn't come across as very friendly. Ketchum is a top agency, for sure, but trying to be 'hip' with their interview process just made it longer and more complicated than it needed to be.
