Research Assistant
after an online assessment, there was a short 20 minute interview with two directors. it was focused almost entirely on the assessment, and didn't have any general behavioral questions. instead, they used the time to understand how you approached the assessment, how you found the task and if you would have done anything differently.
- How did you go about approaching each task?
- Can you describe your process for tackling the assessment tasks?
- What was your experience with the assessment, and would you change anything about your approach?
Intern
It was a 3-part interview process. First, a chill chat with HR. Then, there was an assessment. Finally, I interviewed with 1 or 2 current consultants or people more senior than that. They really knew my CV in the last interview and asked a lot about it. I also had to present my assessment work and answer questions on it. They threw some broad scenarios at me too.

Associate
My application process at Kekst CNC involved two rounds of interviews with three interviewers in total (HR team, senior and lead employees) and a case study. All conversations were very friendly and professional, and felt more like an intensive exchange rather than a one-sided interview. This allowed me, as a candidate, to get a very good impression of the team and the job requirements. In the first conversation with the HR team, we dove deep into qualifications and motivation. In the second conversation with the senior and lead communication employees, we talked in greater detail about my previous practical experience concerning the requirements of the advertised role and discussed current topics and developments from my former industry. After the second conversation, I was given a case study to work on.
- Both conversations didn't follow a classic interview structure with a list of questions, but were an intensive exchange.
- The relevance of my previous experience for the specific requirements of the position and the motivation for a change to Kekst CNC were an important part.
Communications Associate
I got a call from HR first, just a general chat about my experience. Then I went in for an in-person interview where I met with four people separately. They covered different levels on the team. The junior people seemed cool. The VP mentioned the role requires working nights and weekends. The last person I spoke with, not the VP but a senior person, was really rude and abruptly told me my interview had been rescheduled multiple times and made fun of me for not knowing about a writing test (which nobody told me about). That interview only lasted like 5 minutes. I decided not to even ask about the writing test. After following up with HR a week later, I got rejected.
- What motivates you to work at this company?
