Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Kekst CNC.
Associate
The interview process felt pretty general and rushed, like they were trying to get through a lot of people quickly, which made it not feel very personal. It was mostly general interest questions.
- What was your motivation for choosing Kekst?
Senior Associate
So first, there were two rounds of in person interviews, then a big writing test that lasted about 5-6 hours. After that, you do a final round of interviews, and then they give you an offer.
- Tell me about the kind of work environment you're hoping for.
Associate
My application process at Kekst CNC involved two rounds of interviews with three interviewers in total (HR team, senior and lead employees) and a case study. All conversations were very friendly and professional, and felt more like an intensive exchange rather than a one-sided interview. This allowed me, as a candidate, to get a very good impression of the team and the job requirements. In the first conversation with the HR team, we dove deep into qualifications and motivation. In the second conversation with the senior and lead communication employees, we talked in greater detail about my previous practical experience concerning the requirements of the advertised role and discussed current topics and developments from my former industry. After the second conversation, I was given a case study to work on.
- Both conversations didn't follow a classic interview structure with a list of questions, but were an intensive exchange.
- The relevance of my previous experience for the specific requirements of the position and the motivation for a change to Kekst CNC were an important part.
