I had 3 interviews over 3 months with 5 Directors and Managers. They said it would take a while. After the 3rd round, they closed for holidays. Next steps were supposed to be the week of 1/6. It's 1/21 and I haven't heard anything, plus the job was reposted. It's disrespectful to ghost candidates after they invest so much time. A simple email saying you're moving on takes 1 minute. Think twice before applying.

The interview experience at Juul labs was pleasant and the people were friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed and not intimidating. The process was casual, asking about my background, industry familiarity, and ability to work onsite.

I applied online, and the whole thing took about 2 months, all done over Zoom. They got back to me pretty fast after I applied and I had a quick phone screen with a recruiter. Then, I was set up with the hiring manager pretty quickly. That's when things started getting messy with communication. They told me I was moving on to the next stage, which was going to be four separate interviews within the same week - like a 3-hour final round - and asked me to send over my availability. Then, nothing for two weeks. Eventually, I got scheduled for the final interviews, and again, silence for another two weeks. I was told they'd give 'actionable feedback' from the hiring managers, but all I got was the standard 'we went in another direction' line. It was a long process overall, and those last interviews could've easily been one panel interview since they asked the same stuff in each. If they'd kept up the communication, it would've been fine, but the ghosting for two months is pretty concerning from a candidate's point of view.

I applied in October and got a quick call back for a recruiter phone screen. Then I had a Zoom interview with the hiring manager, but scheduling was a nightmare. One person didn't show up, and the other didn't have her camera on. The person I did talk to didn't seem to know much about the job and was unfocused. I moved on to more interviews. It was a similar situation with the next set of interviews - no cameras on and they seemed unprepared. After everything, I followed up a bunch with the recruiter but got ghosted. It's January now and still no word from HR. Super unprofessional, I wouldn't waste my time with Juul again. They either take forever to decide or just never let you know.
