It was an easy interview process. I felt pretty comfortable during the interview. The managers were on time and asked some great questions that really got the conversation going. The manager also took the time to give me a tour of the store, introduce me to the team, and show me how the store operates, just to make sure it was a place I would feel good working at.

It was a good experience, the people were nice and the interview started on time. It took about 1.30 hours. They asked deep questions about concepts. First, they asked about my projects and to explain a function from backend to frontend. Then, they asked basic questions like OOP concepts in Java, about interfaces and abstract classes, and if we can create an interface in a class or a class in an interface.

Behavioral Case

I applied in store and got a call from the store manager within 48 hours. I met the store manager and had a casual chat about the store, the recent acquisition by Mens Warehouse, and the company's direction. During the formal interview, the store manager asked standard questions like 'why do you want to work here' and 'have you shopped before.' She was very nice and clear about her expectations and potential growth opportunities.

Behavioral Presentation Other

I had my first interview with a store manager who seemed stressed and wasn't sure what to ask me, and she interviewed me in a changing room. After that, she had me style some suits and said her regional manager would call me. It took weeks, but eventually, a regional manager scheduled another interview at a different location, and that one went well. She mentioned I'd need to interview with her colleague who shares the territory. Again, it took weeks to schedule, and it was at another store. He was 30 minutes late, seemed uninterested, asked me one question, and then left. No one ever contacted me or returned my messages about the job status. It was unprofessional and disorganized.

  • What are your 5-year career goals?
