First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at JoS. A. Bank.
Sales Associate
It was an easy interview process. I felt pretty comfortable during the interview. The managers were on time and asked some great questions that really got the conversation going. The manager also took the time to give me a tour of the store, introduce me to the team, and show me how the store operates, just to make sure it was a place I would feel good working at.
- How would you handle an angry customer?
Sales Associate
The hiring manager made me feel comfortable during the interview process, which was quite simple. The questions asked were relatable. Lunch was offered by the manager after the questions. I think the process could be improved by asking tougher questions, but I understand that there needs to be a range for my position.
- What about suiting intrigues you?
Sales Associate
I was asked about my former sales experience, my ability to work holidays and weekends, my customer relations skills, and my views on cleanliness and sanitation. They also asked about my willingness to attain sales goals, my comfortability with handling money, and if I could lift heavy items. Lastly, they inquired about my ability to stand still and my experience with face-to-face interaction.
