First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at JE Dunn Construction.
Intern
The JE Dunn interview process was put together really well. For the internship interview event, held at their Denver office, the JE Dunn team was super friendly and gave out good info about company culture, what they looked for, and growth potential.
- In your college career, what have you done to demonstrate your dedication to this career path?
Project Engineer
The interview team was really friendly and welcoming. It was quite an extensive interview project with multiple rounds involving different teams I'd be working with. First, I had a recruiter interview, followed by one with a department lead, I think. The in-person interview was at the Atlanta office and took about half a day. Even though I didn't get the job, they were a really nice group to interact with.
- What relevant experience do you have?
Cost Estimator
I had a very mixed experience interviewing with JE Dunn. The first call was very unprofessional, was mostly about the interviewer's personal life, and made me immediately question the character of the company. Subsequent in-person interviews went much better and the people I interviewed with were much more personable and friendly.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Project Manager
It was a pretty standard PM interview process. I had several interviews with different SPMs, directors, and even some executives. The main thing they kept asking was why I wanted to leave my previous job. Beyond that, they really wanted to understand what I did on my past projects and how I managed to succeed in them.
- What was your motivation for leaving your previous employer?
- Can you describe your responsibilities in your prior projects?
- How did you achieve success in those past projects?
