Quality Assurance Engineer
The first interview was with the QA Lead, and it went well. I was then invited for a second interview, which was supposed to be with a Senior QA and the VP R&D. They called to reschedule it for the next day. When I showed up, neither the Senior QA nor the VP R&D were there, and the QA Lead conducted the interview again. It was weird because one of the exercises was very similar to the one in the first round, which I felt was a waste of time and didn't provide deeper insight. Still, it seems like a good place to work.
- Can you provide examples of where a bug might originate (e.g., front-end or back-end) and how you would design a test plan?
Customer Success Manager
So my interview process started pretty normal, things were going great and both sides were excited. I made and showed a mock presentation that was liked and they immediately asked for my references. HR started talking about salary and start dates. After checking my references, I was told an offer would come when the CMO got back from vacation to sign off. The CMO stayed away a week longer than planned, so things were delayed. HR kept talking about new start dates. When the CMO returned, HR told me the job was changing to an engineering one. It doesn't make sense for a customer success job to become engineering, but whatever. Two days later, HR called to say they made a mistake and the job wasn't changing to engineering, and asked if I was still interested. I said yes and was asked to interview with the CMO. I don't know why the process changed from CMO signoff to now needing an actual interview, but I went with it. After that interview, I was told I didn't get the job and they're going another way. The job is still open and they just posted it again on LinkedIn...

Software Engineer
Applied on LinkedIn, then after two weeks, got an invite for a 1-hour interview with a director. No intro HR call, no role/salary talk, no job description, and no info on what to expect, just a calendar invite and the job ad. The interview was chaotic. The interviewer opened a virtual whiteboard after quick intros for me to draw and explain my answers. I felt rushed and wasn't given enough time to answer or draw before they moved on. Got a generic rejection email with no feedback. Asked for feedback but never heard back.
