Applied on LinkedIn, then after two weeks, got an invite for a 1-hour interview with a director. No intro HR call, no role/salary talk, no job description, and no info on what to expect, just a calendar invite and the job ad. The interview was chaotic. The interviewer opened a virtual whiteboard after quick intros for me to draw and explain my answers. I felt rushed and wasn't given enough time to answer or draw before they moved on. Got a generic rejection email with no feedback. Asked for feedback but never heard back.

The interview process was really fast and enjoyable. The interviewers were very polite and clearly explained the role. I liked visiting the office and meeting the team I would lead. I was impressed by the executive's vision. After receiving the offer, my manager and recruiters kept in touch to see if I needed anything, making me feel very welcomed and anticipated.

So, the whole thing took like a month. First, a recruiter hit me up a few days after I sent my CV, asked about my background and what I was looking for, then gave me the lowdown on the job and company to see if it was a fit. Then, I chatted with the Team Lead. He went over my CV, asked about my experience and general knowledge, plus what I wanted and why I was leaving my current gig. After that, it was an interview with the VP of R&D and an HR recruiter. They again reviewed my CV, drilled into my past experience, why I was looking to leave, and what I hoped for here. They also talked about their product and company to ensure we were on the same page. Finally, after passing those, I spent a few hours hanging out with the team, looking at code and tasks. After all that, they made me an offer.
