First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at iFIT.
Machine Learning Engineer
It started with an HR interview to get a feel for what you're looking for. Then, a manager interview to go over your past experiences. After that, there was a technical interview focused on LLMs. Finally, a joint interview with the manager and a product person, where we discussed scenarios and how you explain technical concepts to non-technical folks.

UX Researcher
It kicked off with a recruiter chat, then I talked to the hiring manager, and after that, it was seven back-to-back interviews with the team all in one day. I put in a lot of prep time and felt like the discussions went super well. They mentioned I'd hear back by the end of the week. When that day arrived, they said there'd be a delay of "a few weeks" – no real reason or thanks for my time. After that, communication was pretty minimal and felt impersonal. Almost a month later, I finally got an automated email saying the "position no longer available" from a no-reply address. No one from the recruiter reached out directly, no "thanks for your effort," and no recognition of how much I worked on this. It honestly felt cold, dismissive, and unprofessional. Candidates put in a ton of time and effort during interviews – the least a company can do is wrap things up personally and respectfully.
- How do you like to get research insights and what's your approach to acting on them – through reports, workshops, or storytelling?
Member Care Manager
My experience interviewing at iFit was pretty bad. The recruiter was rude and didn't seem to care. They didn't really know the job description, so they asked questions that didn't make sense for the role. The recruiter also gave some weird, unsolicited feedback, which was unprofessional. It's weird that they aren't hiring for HR. The company's rating doesn't match how the interview actually felt. Also, they're advertising a six-figure job but only offering $60,000, which is concerning about how they pay people. It was a disappointing interview because of the lack of competence and respect for candidates.
- How does your background fit this role
Operations Analyst
The initial phone screen was handled by an external company that seemed unaware of the role's specifics, primarily focusing on verifying my resume details. Following this, I had a call with the hiring manager, who hadn't reviewed my resume, and the operations lead, who was more experienced and asked insightful questions. This interview seemed positive, and I was initially told to expect a response within three days. After a follow-up, the timeline was extended to the next day. Ultimately, I received a rejection about two weeks later. While the core interview was acceptable, the surrounding process was quite disorganized.
- Can you elaborate on your experience with Python and SQL?
