Product Operations
For the Head of Product Operations role at Hostinger, the assessment task was quite extensive, requiring the creation of a consolidated board pack, investor deck, and market intelligence brief using over 10 team roadmaps. This felt more like a week of actual consulting work than a typical take-home exercise. While I invested significant time, believing it could assess the right skills with a more structured discussion, I felt there were more efficient ways to evaluate these capabilities in a couple of hours. What followed was even more surprising. After over a decade of interviewing for senior roles, this conversation with the CPTO of a billion-dollar company was the most confusing I've had. The CPTO sarcastically questioned my attention to detail and then criticized me for not including the task's duration in my email, which felt more like a '90s classroom than a senior-level discussion. This was followed by a lengthy challenge regarding a single cited source in the market intelligence brief. When I explained it was meant to spark discussion, the response was to scrutinize the source further, showing no curiosity about the ideas or the thought process behind them. My questions about Hostinger's product strategy and leadership were dismissed. For a senior candidate, the company's answers are as important as their questions. For this role, the assessment should focus on strategic thinking, product sense, execution judgment, and handling ambiguity, not on mentioning a time estimate or the citation of a single source. I ultimately decided to leave the conversation halfway through, as a CPTO who struggles to assess senior talent, dismisses important questions, and mistakes administrative details for rigor is not someone I'd want to work with. This also raises concerns about the internal product leadership at Hostinger, as a company of this scale and ambition should have a better process for assessing senior talent.

Customer Success Agent
It was super fast, it only lasted 3 days and they hired me already, they were very human with their questions, they wanted to know more about me than about my work experience, arguing that they were looking for freedom and employees with strong values, such as honesty, freedom, ethics and empathy.

SEO Content Writer
Applied for a job and got invited to submit an assignment. It's disappointing to get an assignment before speaking to anyone, but I understand it's common. I acknowledged the assignment and stated I'd submit on time. The email included a 24-page writing guide and brand guidelines, plus a 6-page assignment with its own instructions. I spent a weekend writing a 2800-word article, following guidelines, rules, reading their articles for tone, and competitor articles on the topic. Sent the assignment on June 4th, expecting a response in 1-2 business days, but got nothing. Waited until June 10th and sent a reminder, still nothing. It's June 13th, and I'm writing this review. I advise everyone to stay away as there's no respect.

The interview process was super smooth and I really enjoyed it. The interviewers were nice and friendly from the start, making things feel relaxed and comfortable. They paid attention and seemed genuinely interested in my background and skills. The whole thing was well-organized and moved quickly, with clear communication throughout. What I really liked was how easy it was. The steps were simple, and there weren't any annoying delays. Scheduling was prompt and feedback was timely, making it all quick and stress-free. Basically, the combination of a warm, friendly vibe and a smooth, efficient process made it a really positive experience.
