Customer Success
The selection process was done through the Gupy platform, which included an advanced English test. I got a message the business day after signing up to schedule a call with a recruiter for screening. Two days later, I received an email stating that I wasn't a good fit for the role because the activities are more technical and operational and less about communication and relationships. This happened even though I was clear during the call that I was looking for a position where I could use my technical IT knowledge to help clients. I believe this misinterpretation occurred because I explicitly stated I'm not interested in active sales but am open to passive sales.
- Why do you want to work here?
- Tell me about your English level.
- What specific knowledge do you have in this area?
Customer Success
Super quick process from resume to final stages. The interviewer, Rebecca, was really nice and polite. She broke the ice a few times to make me comfortable and was super helpful with any questions. The phone interview (10 mins) was in Portuguese and English; the next one was almost entirely in English (1 hour); and the final one with the manager in Lithuania was completely in English (30 mins). Unfortunately, in this last part, the recruiter seemed really unwilling to help or tired.
- Can you define Customer Success?
- In your opinion, how can you demonstrate to a client that they are valuable to Hostinger?
- What would you do if a customer complained about another employee not resolving their issue?
Customer Success
The interview starts with a brief presentation of the job opening, and then you have the chance to introduce yourself. Right after that, questions are asked about the candidate's experiences, focusing more on customer service and technology. Then, the interview is conducted in English, where the candidate must respond to situations described by the interviewer. Overall, the interview is quite relaxed. I found the process itself very long and with many steps for the type of job and the salary they offer. A positive point is that even though I wasn't selected, the recruiter offers very complete feedback.
- Could you describe your future aspirations?
- What is your understanding of website development?
- What do you know about website hosting?
