Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process was way too long. I went through 5 interviews: a phone screen, then one with the hiring manager, followed by the senior analyst, and then the Director of Product. The last step was a take-home assignment which I had to present on a video call to the senior analyst. They gave me less than 2 days to do a full analysis and create an executive presentation. The senior analyst wasn't happy even after the presentation, saying it lacked information and wasn't thorough enough, which felt unreasonable given the tight deadline and resources. The hiring manager and recruiter also mentioned the need to work long hours in a high-stress environment, showing a lack of focus on work-life balance. I didn't get any feedback after the final interview, even after emailing the recruiter. Just a generic rejection email a couple of weeks later. They were very disrespectful and inconsiderate.

Behavioral Technical

I reached out to some folks at the company to learn more about their roles. I interviewed on Monday and was told by people on LinkedIn that the position was already closed and given to an internal candidate by Friday. It was frustrating to interview knowing they'd already decided to close the role with someone internally. HR denied this, saying no offer was made before Monday, but the internal team members said it was closed. It takes a lot of effort for job seekers to interview for a role, and I just wanted to express that.

Behavioral Technical

There were about 3 to 4 rounds of interviews. The first one was behavioral. The next one had both behavioral questions and more technical questions about my past projects and insurance knowledge. Then there was a panel interview that mixed behavioral and technical questions. The last one was another screening interview. Overall, the interviews were enjoyable, and the interviewers were intelligent and helpful.

The interview process involved both phone calls and in-person meetings. It started with a recruiter phone screen, followed by a manager phone screen. Then, there was a multi-level in-person interview covering peers, the manager, and stakeholders, and HR. Finally, there was a more in-depth interview with the hiring manager.
