The company was very quick to get back to me after I applied, and I even had an interview scheduled for the very next day. However, after the first interview, I was completely ghosted with no follow-up or feedback. It was a pretty poor candidate experience overall. The interview was in person.

It was a 2-stage interview process, and I spoke with HR staff for both. They were upfront about the salary band for the position. They really emphasized a formal dress code (sometimes needing to dress in a shirt and tie) and their company credo with a heavy dose of what I would call traditional Christian values. In the end, that's up to them and wasn't a good culture fit for me.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you adhere to the business casual dress code, which includes occasional business formal attire (shirt, tie, jacket) for executive and client meetings?

I was contacted to set up an initial interview, which turned out to be an in-person meeting. I met with the General Manager and the Owner of the location, and they were all quite friendly and asked typical interview questions. Following that, I had another virtual meeting scheduled with a Recruiter who was already employed there, and I felt like it went well; it was about 15 minutes long. After that last meeting, I never heard back from them.

The interview for the CARE Professional role was pretty straightforward. First, there was a quick screening to see my background and why I want to do this job. They looked at my personal skills, like if I'm empathetic, patient, and a good communicator. We talked about my work history, especially any caregiving or personal experiences I have. They asked me some scenario questions to check how I'd solve problems in real situations. There were also behavioral questions about working with others and managing my time. Finally, I got to ask my own questions about the job and the company. It felt like a good way to see if I'm a good fit for the caregiving job.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Tell me about a challenging situation you encountered while caregiving and how you managed it.
