Jake, the owner, no showed our scheduled virtual interview and I had to email him to reschedule because he said there was a mix up on his end. Unprofessional. After interview was rescheduled for the week after, he proceeded to send me an email over the weekend to cancel the interview all together because they've filled the role.

I had a few meetings with the Owner and Office Manager. After that, I was asked to do a short presentation (10-15 mins) on a topic I picked. Then I met with the rest of the team.

Behavioral Presentation Group

I was referred by an agency. The first interview was pretty chill, with 3 staff members. A few days later, I got called back for a second interview where I had to do a presentation. Later, I found out they were still interviewing people for the first round, which I found really unprofessional and not best practice for HR. It seemed like they didn't have a clear process. They mentioned they had to wait to see other candidates for second interviews to be fair. The company has good values and an ethos, but this specific branch is a franchise and the HR roles are at head office. This role is purely recruitment, not HR. The branch focused on hiring older people for pension top-ups, which is fine, but they might be missing out on other talent by focusing too much on one group.
