First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Home Instead.
Recruiter
I was contacted to set up an initial interview, which turned out to be an in-person meeting. I met with the General Manager and the Owner of the location, and they were all quite friendly and asked typical interview questions. Following that, I had another virtual meeting scheduled with a Recruiter who was already employed there, and I felt like it went well; it was about 15 minutes long. After that last meeting, I never heard back from them.
- What are your methods for sourcing candidates?
Recruitment Manager
First, I had a phone call, then a video chat with the hiring manager and someone from the recruitment team. They asked me about my background and some of my past work. They also told me more about the job and the company.
- Can you share your background with us?
Staffing Coordinator
You get a phone call to meet with HR and some administrators. You'll need to answer questions about your work history, and then you do a drug test and get fingerprinted for a background check. If everything checks out, they usually call you back in a few days. Of course, you also have to give them references and they have to verify them before you get an offer.
- What made you choose this line of work?
