The interview process was pretty tough and had a lot of tests. It was challenging but felt worth it in the end. The process was clear and simple to get through. It was a really intense set of interviews with sessions happening one after the other.

The interview process was quite pleasant and straightforward. Both the HR representative and the manager were very welcoming and professional, which made me feel quite calm and comfortable during the interview. Overall, it was a great experience, especially considering it was my first job interview in the hospitality sector in the US.

The interview process at Holiday Inn Eastleigh was pretty chill and friendly, with two main parts. You'd usually get a quick call or an email to set up the interview. First up was meeting the Front Office Manager in person, and then you'd have a second chat with the Operations Manager. Both chats were short, about 20-30 mins each. They asked stuff about my past customer service gigs, how I deal with tricky guest issues, and some hypothetical situations to see how I'd solve problems and communicate. They also asked about when I can work and if I'm up for odd hours, which is a big deal in hotels. The people interviewing were nice and made me feel comfortable, so it was easy to talk about my past jobs. After the interviews, they showed me around the place. Then they told me I got the job!

Semi-structured interview with common questions. The problem is the lack of feedback and the hostile tone set by the HR manager during the process. The company does not offer meal vouchers or food, nor on-site meals (and it's a hotel chain where meals are prepared!). The openings are constantly reopened, which shows they want someone technically perfect and behaviorally submissive. Just a heads up.

  • How many years of experience do you have?
  • Have you worked with training before?
