First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Holiday Inn.
Receptionist
The interview process at Holiday Inn Eastleigh was pretty chill and friendly, with two main parts. You'd usually get a quick call or an email to set up the interview. First up was meeting the Front Office Manager in person, and then you'd have a second chat with the Operations Manager. Both chats were short, about 20-30 mins each. They asked stuff about my past customer service gigs, how I deal with tricky guest issues, and some hypothetical situations to see how I'd solve problems and communicate. They also asked about when I can work and if I'm up for odd hours, which is a big deal in hotels. The people interviewing were nice and made me feel comfortable, so it was easy to talk about my past jobs. After the interviews, they showed me around the place. Then they told me I got the job!

Receptionist
I had an interview that lasted about an hour. They asked me general questions about customer care, policies, and how I prefer to work, either by myself or with a team. They also asked what I know about the hotel.
- How would you handle a customer complaint?
- What do you know about our hotel?
- Do you prefer working alone or as part of a team?
Receptionist
The interview process was quite straightforward with minimal questions. It took about a week from start to finish. I was offered the position but unfortunately had to decline due to personal circumstances. For someone aiming for a career in this field, it's a decent starting point.
- What was your previous work experience?
