First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Holiday Inn.
Front Desk
They'll email or call you for an interview. On the day, 2-3 interviewers will be there, including the front desk manager and HR manager. A few days later, they'll call you to talk to their General Manager and announce if you passed.
- What would you do in a situation where you have a line of people waiting to check in and the phone is ringing at the same time?
Front Desk
The position was already filled by the time I had my interview, so it was more of an introduction. The co-owner I spoke with was very friendly and talked a lot about his philosophy of promoting from within and developing talent. He asked if I'd be open to working in food and beverage, which I declined.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Front Desk
I talked to 3 people for the role: the front desk manager, general manager, and area manager. The front desk manager asked me a lot of situational questions, like what I would do or how I would handle certain things. It took a bit over 2 hours to answer everything and finish the paperwork. They offered me the job right away and the front desk manager said I interviewed great.
- Can you share an experience where you dealt with an angry customer and explain how you managed the situation?
