Sales Consultant
I had a screening interview with a hear.com recruiter where they asked very basic questions and went over my resume and experience. My last interview was straight forward. They just asked about my sales experience and asked me to give a few examples of how I handled certain situations. Interviewer asked how comfortable I am closing sales over the phone.

Shipping Coordinator
The interview process involved two rounds: one over the phone and another in-person. It was pretty straightforward, nothing too complicated. However, during the in-person meeting with the manager, I got the impression he wasn't fully prepared. He asked questions that were similar to the phone interview, even though they had my resume beforehand. I also had to complete a 'personality assessment,' which I personally find to be mostly pointless. Oh, and they didn't even offer a handshake at the end. All in all, it was a pretty average experience.

Packaging Specialist
Worst interviewer experience ever. The recruiter was super late for my phone screener, like 40 minutes, and then acted like she forgot? Super weird. She clearly hadn't seen my resume before and aggressively asked why I left all my jobs for the past decade. To top it off, she said the next interview had to be the very next day because the hiring team was heading out on vacation. Total nightmare, honestly. Don't waste your time unless you're desperate for cash.

Customer Support Representative
So, honestly, the interview part wasn't too bad. The person I spoke with, Sanah, was really organized and nice. It's just sad that no one else I interacted with afterwards was like that. After I talked with Shannon and got the offer, I started virtual training for Customer Support. The trainer, Courtney, seemed friendly at first, but then she showed her true colors. She talked about going to customers' houses to fight them because she's big and tattooed, swore a lot, had a bad attitude, talked way too much about her personal stuff, and was super disorganized with the training. Nobody's actions matched up with their initial words. Carlos was alright, but also seemed really laid-back about everything. He asked for feedback privately, but it got back to Courtney really quickly, and then she got defensive and sarcastic with me. When we shadowed her on calls, she'd put customers on mute, roll her eyes, complain, threaten them, and make weird gestures. She called us 'rooks' and talked down to us like we were dumb, making us feel incompetent, and others felt the same. I couldn't trust them from day one. Even transferring my 401k was a nightmare. Shannon was nice at first too, but then got really cold and unhelpful. They don't seem to like feedback. The People Team might apologize in reviews, but they don't actually care. The pay ($20) and benefits were okay, so I tried it, but I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. It felt like you were just a number, not part of a team. It was a really disappointing experience, glad I left. They sent my welcome package with expired snacks way after I was done. They're a mess.
- Can you share your previous experience and how it applies to this position?
- How would you handle a customer who is upset?
- Which superhero would you choose to be, and what's your reasoning?
