Behavioral Technical Other

Had a quick 10-minute phone call to kick things off, felt like it went well. Then, another Zoom interview the next day which also seemed good. After that, I had to do two tests: one on computer skills and another on personality. The personality test was weird, seemed like it was designed to filter people out. Passed those, then had a final chat with the head of sales, but honestly felt like he'd already decided no before we even talked. Got an email saying I didn't get it a couple of days later from someone I never met.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process felt a bit unclear from the start, regarding what they were really looking for. The first recruiter I talked to emphasized needing aggressive sales reps because we'd be dealing with people who didn't think they needed hearing aids. But then, in the final interview, the co-founder said I was wrong because we'd actually be talking to people who knew they needed them and wouldn't push back. They really need to be upfront about the nature of the role from the beginning, as I'm still unsure if it involves cold calling or working with warm leads.

I applied through indeed and then got an email back asking me to answer 5 questions. After I sent my answers to the recruiter, he rang me for a phone screening. Then he set me up to interview with his senior recruiting manager for a scenario test to see if I could open, build value, and close. After that, I had the 3rd and final interview with the regional sales director, which was a more formal interview about myself and my interest in medical device sales. Lastly, I got an off-phone call the next day with the recruiter who first got in touch.
