Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at hear.com.
Sales Consultant
I had a screening interview with a hear.com recruiter where they asked very basic questions and went over my resume and experience. My last interview was straight forward. They just asked about my sales experience and asked me to give a few examples of how I handled certain situations. Interviewer asked how comfortable I am closing sales over the phone.
- Can you tell me about your sales experience?
- Could you give a few examples of how you handled certain situations?
- How comfortable are you closing sales over the phone?
Sales Consultant
It was a really straightforward process with just two rounds. Basically, if you've got the sales chops, you can sell yourself in the interview and you're golden. Use the STAR method, ask some smart closing questions to really make your case. Definitely be sure to inquire about the current quota.
- What makes you the best candidate for this position?
- Could you demonstrate your ability to sell yourself?
- What questions would you ask to close a deal?
Sales Consultant
I had an initial HR phone call, followed by a Zoom meeting with two of the team leads. It was a pretty standard EQ interview. The team leads were nice enough. They did throw in a couple of unexpected questions, but it was mostly a typical process.
- What motivates you to work at this company?
- Can you share something new you've learned recently, within the last six months?
