I was supposed to attend an interview drive on a weekend, but after waiting for 3 hours, they called me to schedule it for a weekday. On the scheduled day, the first round was a 45-minute technical/aptitude test, which went well. Then, a manager-like person started asking questions very rapidly, seeming uninterested in my answers. He was even checking SQL/Unix answers on Google while interviewing. He didn't understand a query about maximum salary and asked me to explain it, and also asked what the letter "o" was, which he thought was the answer. He repeatedly asked why I wanted to change jobs within a year. After this, HR said another round would be arranged with a different project manager on another day, stating there were no negatives. Later, HR called and asked me to come for a face-to-face interview the same day. I had asked to reschedule for Friday and requested confirmation. When I called on Thursday to confirm, HR said my profile was not suitable.

The hiring process was very slow and there was a complete lack of coordination between HR and the interviewers. I was shortlisted for an interview, but during the first round of discussion, they realized they needed a candidate with different expertise. It's baffling why I was shortlisted in the first place if there wasn't alignment between their requirements and my skills. This company is supposedly ranked 117th by Deloitte, but based on this experience, I'd rank their employees last among all IT companies.

I applied online and HR reached out via phone and email. The first interview was scheduled for 9 am, but it didn't start until 11:30. Then I was given a written test with 30 questions covering Java, Selenium, XPath, output programs, and general QA, plus 3 programming questions. After that, there was a second written test where I had to write an automation script based on a case study.

The first round was a subjective coding round. The second and third rounds were technical rounds which had puzzles and coding questions. The fourth round was an HR round with basic HR questions.
