It was a pretty standard interview, much like you'd expect for hotel jobs. They wanted to know about my skills, my background, and threw in some situational questions. The whole thing was about 20 minutes, so it wasn't a long process.

The interview process was very professional and I felt comfortable during the interaction. The people I met were kind and we hit it off right away. Interestingly, the hiring manager recognized me from a previous job we worked together many years ago. I had also interviewed earlier that afternoon with a partner Hotel for their role, and I knew from speaking with their manager that they were interested in hiring me.

She asked me a bunch of questions and explained the responsibilities of a shift. I felt like the interview went really well, and she said she had no concerns about my qualifications. She told me she'd contact me in two days to start the onboarding process. Then, she called and said they had filled the position. She's such a hypocrite! Maybe even a racist!
