First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at GSMA.
Market Engagement Manager
The interview process was well communicated and overall a smooth process. The first round was with HR with generic questions, the second round was a discussion with Director of the program with topic related questions and the third round was a case study presentation round along with behavioural assessment.
- Case study presentation on the topic
Sponsorship Manager
Good information throughout and relevant interview questions. There was 3 stages including a presentation at the end but all of these stages were very informative and gave me a very good understanding of the business and the role.
- How would you handle a sponsorship for a specific event? Please outline this in a presentation.
Insights Manager
The interview process had two team members interview me. One was the manager, and the other was a member of the wider team. First, there was an initial interview with HR, then a first interview, then a task-based activity, and finally, a closing interview.
- Competency-based questions were asked.
- Questions were asked about the team's recent research projects, so I read up on key publications for the program.
Project Manager
The first call was a standard screening, seemed professional. The next interview started out chill and nice, but one of the interviewers was kind of rude, and they both didn't seem prepared. They said they'd get back to me, but it took like six weeks to hear they weren't moving forward.
- Could you introduce yourself?
- What would you say are your greatest strengths?
