Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at GSMA.
Project Coordinator
So there was like an initial call, and then a video call with the senior marketing director, and then an in-person interview with senior management. The first call was just to get some background info, and the other two were about skills.
- Could you start by telling me about yourself?
- What made you interested in this particular role?
Coordinator
The recruiter reached out quickly and was very enthusiastic about the company, which got me really excited. I then had a great interview with the recruiter and the hiring manager, mostly consisting of behavioral questions like 'when have you done this' and 'what would you do if'. The next interview was with a senior team member and was more casual. Overall, it was a positive experience.
- What makes you want to work at this company?
Coordinator
The interview process was quite disorganized, and this was a few years ago, so it may have changed. The role I interviewed for was actually being performed by someone else at the time. The interview itself was very casual, and we met at a coffee shop.
- What motivates you to apply for this position?
