First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at GSMA.
Manager
There were 4 steps - an assignment and 3 interviews - one HR, one with hiring manager and the team, and one with a senior director of the department. Overall respectful and interesting process. However, some interviewers seemed like they were under a lot of stress.
- A case study related to agriculture research was presented.
Insights Manager
The interview process had two team members interview me. One was the manager, and the other was a member of the wider team. First, there was an initial interview with HR, then a first interview, then a task-based activity, and finally, a closing interview.
- Competency-based questions were asked.
- Questions were asked about the team's recent research projects, so I read up on key publications for the program.
Market Manager
I arranged my own interview through a friend with just one day's notice. After the interview, I had to call the recruitment agency, who hadn't put me forward, to let them know I got the job.
- How would you market a product you've never encountered before?
