It was a pretty thorough process with several stages. First, I had a phone screen with HR. After that, I interviewed with my direct manager, a Director from another department, the director of my department (who is my boss's boss), and then finally the VP. I got the offer after that. It was pretty straightforward, and my future boss was really good at giving me updates and relaying feedback from the interviewers.

Applied Feb 12, 2025. Got an invite for a phone interview on Feb 25, 2025, with 3 time slots. Chose the first, but no meeting details came. Waited, but no call. Then picked another slot for March 6, 2025, got instant confirmation. The phone interview went fine. Was told I'd get an email about next steps. Followed up March 14, 2025; interviewer said they hadn't heard from the hiring manager yet but would let me know. Didn't hear back until April 1, 2025, when they said they went with other candidates. Immediately asked to delete my profile and info. Got a confirmation email saying a rep would contact me if needed. It's April 9, 2025, still no confirmation, info not deleted, no follow-up. This company is super slow to do anything. Wouldn't recommend unless you're okay waiting months for a response.

The manager seemed to have a preferred candidate already, but felt obligated to conduct the interview anyway. It felt unprofessional and like a waste of time for everyone involved. The company itself seemed appealing, especially when the manager mentioned the benefits, but the interview felt unnecessary. It was implied that the interview might have been conducted to meet diversity or internal metrics.

It was a pretty typical interview process. They asked me to talk about myself and why I wanted to work for the company. Then they asked about my strengths and weaknesses, which is the usual stuff you'd get at most places.
