Applied Feb 12, 2025. Got an invite for a phone interview on Feb 25, 2025, with 3 time slots. Chose the first, but no meeting details came. Waited, but no call. Then picked another slot for March 6, 2025, got instant confirmation. The phone interview went fine. Was told I'd get an email about next steps. Followed up March 14, 2025; interviewer said they hadn't heard from the hiring manager yet but would let me know. Didn't hear back until April 1, 2025, when they said they went with other candidates. Immediately asked to delete my profile and info. Got a confirmation email saying a rep would contact me if needed. It's April 9, 2025, still no confirmation, info not deleted, no follow-up. This company is super slow to do anything. Wouldn't recommend unless you're okay waiting months for a response.

The whole process usually takes about three weeks. You either need to know someone inside or have a really good resume to get started. You'll first chat with the area manager. The following week, you'll meet with the regional boss. After that, you'll need to complete an online application, and you'll get an offer pretty soon after that. In my case, I met the area manager at a restaurant. Then, for the regional boss, I met with both the regional and area managers at the same time. The area manager called me soon after and let me know I got the job.

I had a phone interview first, and then the next day I was called for an in-person interview. The manager and supervisor interviewed me for over an hour. I spent a lot of time getting ready for this interview, reading about the company and its products. I felt the interview went well. They said I would hear back in a couple of weeks. I never got a call or email about whether I was selected. Graybar should be considerate of other people’s time. It doesn’t take much to send an email to someone if they are not selected.
