The interview process was straightforward. Initially, it was stated that Round 1 would be a Group Discussion (GD), but it turned out to be a "Just A Minute" (JAM) session. The technical and personal interviews were combined. All questions asked are easily found online. It's important to stand out in the technical interview, especially if it's conducted in a group setting, as typically only one candidate is selected from a group.

So, the interview process started with a pre-placement presentation, then a group discussion, followed by a technical and HR round. I interviewed in Bangalore. Cracking the GD is pretty easy here; they give a topic like 'smart city' or 'impact of western culture in India'. They're looking for your participation, checking your body language, communication skills, and if you know about the topic. Just speak up loudly, and you'll likely get selected. The technical round is also easy if you study a bit about engines and cars. If you're from a mechanical background, study compression ratios of petrol and diesel engines, their differences, freezing point, radius of curvature, and so on. In the HR round, they'll go through your resume and ask basic questions related to it. Be honest with the HR, and you'll get hired. There are two selection modes: direct and training. If direct, you get trained by the company for free. If training mode, you have to pay 25000 for the training.

so i applied through my college and it was a one day process with 3 rounds. First was a group discussion where we had to discuss a general topic. They also asked everyone to introduce themselves, and they asked me too. After that, there was a technical and a personal interview. Overall, it was a pretty easy interview.

Group Technical Behavioral Presentation

This was a campus placement for Graduate Engineer Trainee. If you're really into Mechanical Engineering, this company is for you. You need to know basic Mechanical Engineering concepts for the Technical Round. You might get selected directly or as a paid intern. The process has 3 rounds: Group Discussion, Technical Interview, and Personal Interview. If you clear the technical round but didn't do great, you'll be a paid intern for 3 months (you pay 25000 Rs) and then potentially become a permanent employee if you perform well. They promise a salary of 4.12 Lakhs per annum (around 35000 a month), but most say the first year salary is 15000 Rs. The whole interview process took 12 hours. For GD, you'll be in groups of 25. It wasn't really a GD, more like the HR pointed at everyone to speak on a topic. They check basic communication skills, not confidence. The Technical Round decides if you become a paid intern or direct employee. I got selected as a paid employee because I didn't do well in the technical interview. If you do well, you'll surely get in. The Personal Interview (PI) is a group thing for 15 students, which is unethical, it should be 1:1. They asked questions like why hire you, where is Bhubaneswar, when did you last cry, and questions from hobbies. I cleared the technical interview at 2 PM and had my PI with 14 others at 10 PM. Only 40 out of 80 selected for technical interview were selected overall, with 11 direct selections. If you're a Mechanical Engineer with low CGPA, no arrears, and don't mind living in Odisha, this could be a good start for practical skills. But if you don't want to relocate, it's not for you. The interview was long and not good. HR was 2 hours late. If you are from Bhubaneswar, it's a plus.
