Graduate Engineer Trainee
For the first round, they said it was JD but they just asked us to tell our name, then our branch, and why we chose that branch. Tip: just speak loudly and with clarity and be confident while speaking. The second round was a technical interview. Since I am from ECE, they asked basic questions like types of satellite, what is MOSFET, TCP and UDP, and the antenna used in mobiles. A shocking question was which battery is used in cars. The third round seemed like an HR round. All selected candidates (ECE and EEE) were made to sit in one room and asked to dance and sing a song (those who wrote them as their hobbies). And some HR questions were asked. It was simply a wonderful experience.
- What antenna is used in mobile?
- Which battery is used in cars?
Graduate Engineer Trainee
This was a campus placement for Graduate Engineer Trainee. If you're really into Mechanical Engineering, this company is for you. You need to know basic Mechanical Engineering concepts for the Technical Round. You might get selected directly or as a paid intern. The process has 3 rounds: Group Discussion, Technical Interview, and Personal Interview. If you clear the technical round but didn't do great, you'll be a paid intern for 3 months (you pay 25000 Rs) and then potentially become a permanent employee if you perform well. They promise a salary of 4.12 Lakhs per annum (around 35000 a month), but most say the first year salary is 15000 Rs. The whole interview process took 12 hours. For GD, you'll be in groups of 25. It wasn't really a GD, more like the HR pointed at everyone to speak on a topic. They check basic communication skills, not confidence. The Technical Round decides if you become a paid intern or direct employee. I got selected as a paid employee because I didn't do well in the technical interview. If you do well, you'll surely get in. The Personal Interview (PI) is a group thing for 15 students, which is unethical, it should be 1:1. They asked questions like why hire you, where is Bhubaneswar, when did you last cry, and questions from hobbies. I cleared the technical interview at 2 PM and had my PI with 14 others at 10 PM. Only 40 out of 80 selected for technical interview were selected overall, with 11 direct selections. If you're a Mechanical Engineer with low CGPA, no arrears, and don't mind living in Odisha, this could be a good start for practical skills. But if you don't want to relocate, it's not for you. The interview was long and not good. HR was 2 hours late. If you are from Bhubaneswar, it's a plus.
- Can you explain how AC works?
- What is an Expansion Valve?
- What are the differences between BS 3 and BS 4 standards, including exact values?
Graduate Engineer
The recruitment process involves 3 rounds: Group Discussion, Technical HR, and Personal HR. However, the third round was skipped due to time constraints. In the Group Discussion, everyone was given a chance to speak in the order they were sitting. In the Technical HR round, there were 6 members on the panel, and each candidate had to present on different topics.

- Could you explain what a diesel engine is?
