i had some really good first and second interview rounds, and then they flew me out to see the office. i was there all day and thought it went well and then they basically ghosted me. they acted as if they were super interested, and then i had to reach out multiple times, and they wouldn't even tell me if they were moving forward with me or not. i got completely ghosted and scammed.

The process started with a quick 15 minute screener call with the recruiter. Then there was another 15/20 min call with the recruiter who had more knowledge about the position and company. Within a day, the hiring manager interview was set up. After that, the panel interview was scheduled within 3 days. I received an offer within a week.

So I spoke with Jake Frisco, the Associate Operations Manager, and he seemed to really know his stuff. He told me he'd get back to me once his coworker was back from vacation. I tried to follow up a few times, but crickets. It's a shame because I have over 10 years of experience in CAD design, with AutoCAD skills, so I thought I was a pretty good fit. But Jake ghosted me, which is just disrespectful. Honestly, it makes me wonder if Fortitude Systems is even serious about hiring or if they're just collecting info on people. It felt super unprofessional and shady, I'd steer clear.

Strangest interview process ever. First, a phone call with a friendly recruiter, then a Skype call, both standard. The final round involved flying out to DC, with a hotel stay the night before. The next morning, along with 7 other guys, we were taken to the office for a full day of casual, all-behavioral and informational interviews. They mentioned a possible event at the end if enough senior management could make it. However, they abruptly started pulling people out in pairs and sending them to another hotel, saying the event was cancelled. Turns out, they sent half of us home, and the event continued with the other half who were getting job offers. To top it off, we were told not to book flights for that night because of the 'event,' and instead, we were assigned to share a hotel room with another interviewee, a complete stranger. It felt like a locker room, fraternity-like process, with a pyramid scheme for stock options based on recruiting, not performance.
