Applied online through the FF website. Got an email to schedule a Teams meeting, with a limited time slot during lunch. The interviewer was on time. They asked about my departure from my last job, seeming more interested in workplace dynamics than my skills, work ethic, or achievements. Things were going okay until the salary discussion. The interviewer's demeanor shifted when their offer couldn't be negotiated beyond a couple of dollars. The verbally stated range was only a dollar difference, like the role pays $1 or $2 depending on experience. Due to their inflexibility, the conversation became unpleasant. It appears this company from California is relocating to Texas to use cheaper labor for factory construction with maintenance technicians. Fortunately, I didn't get a callback.

It was a 4-round interview process. First was a 1-hour round, then a round with the Manager, followed by a round with the Team. Each round was about 20-30 minutes. Depending on the team and the work, the interviews could be coding-focused or non-coding. Sometimes they focused entirely on your resume, and other times there were multiple coding rounds.

The interview process had 3 rounds. First, an HR round with a normal discussion. Then, a round with the hiring manager that included technical discussion. Finally, an offline round with 3-4 people which was completely technical, involving technical questions and on-spot programming. Be prepared for programming in any language listed on your CV, and they might ask anything related to the skills on your resume.

I had a two-round interview process. The first round was with HR, who talked about the company's history, my job responsibilities, and other important details. I felt good about that conversation. The second round was with a manager who was quite intense. She started by correcting my pronunciation of 'egg', which was a bit frustrating. Then she asked me about 'Rayleigh', and I mentioned it might be related to wireless communication based on my reading. She seemed surprised and insisted it's a component, though I couldn't find any component by that name after checking online. The whole experience felt very unpleasant, like I owed her money. While I met some great people like the HR person, I wouldn't want to work under that manager, so I decided to withdraw my application.
