Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at FormFactor.
Software Engineer Intern
So it was 3 rounds total, I talked to HR, the hiring manager, and the tech team. Depending on the team, they might have asked coding questions or not. You can expect questions that are based on your resume. They are pretty firm on their salary and benefits.
- Can you elaborate on your project?
- Can you tell me about your Workex?
Software Engineer
The interview process had 3 rounds. First, an HR round with a normal discussion. Then, a round with the hiring manager that included technical discussion. Finally, an offline round with 3-4 people which was completely technical, involving technical questions and on-spot programming. Be prepared for programming in any language listed on your CV, and they might ask anything related to the skills on your resume.
- Could you tell me about yourself?
- Can you explain your thesis?
- Please describe your past experiences.
Senior Software Engineer
The recruiter called me 25 minutes late and was really rude. They asked HR-type questions and repeatedly asked if I had read the job description. When I asked about the role, they didn't have any information. I was told I'd get an email for an interview, but it never came, and I was ghosted. It's a shame how easily companies can lose good people. I wouldn't consider working for them after this.
- Can you describe your professional background?
- What makes you want this role?
