The whole interview process here might take two months or more, depending on how fast they schedule things. First, you'll have a technical interview, then an English test, followed by a personality test and an inventory test. After that, there's a coding test, and then another interview to go over your coding test results.

The interview process involved two technical interviews, with the first focusing more on theory and the second on practical application. This was followed by an interview with the managers. Overall, the process was very professional, and I can't really complain about anything.

So Ford Otosan's interview process started with a quick chat and then a final sit-down with some higher-ups. They really wanted to check out my technical chops, my background in the industry, and basically see if my skills matched what they needed for their projects. Part of it was going over my previous work and talking about how I'd fit in with the team and what they're trying to achieve. Each part was a chance for me to show what I can do, and they also gave me a good look at what it's like to work there and what they expect from someone in this role.

It started with a test with around 200 questions. Then HR did a quick chat about my CV and background, keeping it light and lasting about 15-20 minutes. After about an hour, I went upstairs to meet the NVH department chief. He asked typical questions like 'Tell me about yourself,' 'Problem-solving examples,' 'Weaknesses,' and 'Suitability for the job.' He also dug into details about my undergraduate and graduate school projects. Then came technical questions about the hammer-impact test and engine noise sources. This part took about 1-1.5 hours. Later, after more waiting, the head of the CAE department interviewed me. This guy was tough, questioning my one-year delay in graduate school and my ability to avoid future problems, and asked about tasks I don't like.
