- Would you rather work in manufacturing or as a designer?
Intern
Replacing real human interviewers with AI might seem efficient, but it ultimately feels quite demeaning. It strips away the personal connection, empathy, and nuance that only actual people can bring to a conversation. Interviews are more than just a series of questions — they’re opportunities for dialogue, understanding, and mutual respect, all of which are difficult to replicate with a machine.
- Could you tell me a bit about yourself using your own words?
Intern
The interview was good. They sent me several English tests and some cognitive tests. After that, I had a meeting with an engineer and a team leader from the Simulation team. They asked me a lot of technical questions and about how to model certain structures.
- What would the air velocity distribution look like around a car traveling at 120 km/h?
- How would you approach modeling the turbulent airflow?
- What kinds of approximations might you employ in your modeling?
