Behavioral Technical Case

It started with a call with HR, who seemed nice and friendly. Then I interviewed with a senior AI person and the project manager. The PM asked some behavioral questions and the technical person gave a quick case study. He mentioned I said the right things but not the right words and seemed to check out. I think it's because I avoided jargon since a non-technical person was there. It didn't seem to matter much and I felt they had checked out. The lady asked pretty standard behavioral questions. What bothered me most was how the trail went dead afterwards. I got one perfunctory update call from the recruiter, but then it went very quiet. They didn't seem to care much about people, despite all their corporate talk.

Behavioral

The interview process felt really thorough. They asked a lot of questions about different scenarios and company values. It was great because the interviewer gave good feedback and seemed genuinely invested in helping me succeed. They got back to me quickly, but ultimately, I didn't get the offer.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

Interview was on Teams with the hiring manager, area manager, and environmental manager. They sent a helpful document beforehand with hints and tips for preparation. The follow-up from Fonterra was pretty bad; they said I'd hear back within a week but I never did until the job was re-listed weeks later!

Behavioral

So after you apply, the recruiter at Fonterra will reach out, usually by phone or email. They'll set up the interview and might do a quick chat first to make sure you're a good fit and available. The actual interview is all about behavioral questions. They'll ask things like 'Tell me about a time when...' and you'll need to give specific examples of how you've used skills like patience, communication, problem-solving, and good customer service. It's best to use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to explain your answers.
