Lab Technician
The phone interview is about 10-15 minutes long, depending on how long your answers are. There were 3 questions asked, and each one gives you a 10-second pause before a beep signals it's recording. It was fast and easy.
- Can you list the tools you have used in a laboratory setting?
Laboratory Technician
The entire hiring process took about two months from when I applied. It included multiple stages. First, I had to complete some online tests. After passing those, I was asked to record and submit a video interview online. Then, I was invited for an in-person interview at the workplace, which was scheduled for three hours. This on-site part involved a group discussion, a one-on-one interview, and some practical assessments. Finally, after being successful in those, I underwent pre-employment checks and medical examinations.
- Were you asked any STAR method questions?
Lab Technician
I went through about 5 pages of questions. They were pretty standard interview questions, asking about my background and past work experience. I had to give examples and use keywords to make myself stand out.
- Tell me about your background and previous work experience, providing examples and using keywords to highlight your strengths.
- How would you handle a situation where an employee is in conflict with another?
