The interview process was very complex and had lots of rounds. People interviewing me knew 0 about my role. I was on the investment team doing complex private equity and credit transactions, but had to interview with an accountant about non-related matters.

I had an initial phone call with someone from Talent Acquisition. After that, I had two Zoom interviews with the hiring manager. Even though I had my camera on, they didn't turn theirs on. I made it to the final few candidates, but unfortunately, I never heard back after that second interview with the hiring manager.

I applied twice to Florida Power and Light for a senior communications specialist role. Both times, after screening, meeting team members, and doing assignments, I was emailed in the morning saying the role went to someone else. About two hours later, I got job alerts from FP&L for the same role, but it was not senior level and came with a lower paygrade. It feels like they were farming us professionals for our ideas and then hiring someone junior to use our work to guide them.

I first chatted with a recruiter at a career fair about the job I was looking for. They offered me an interview for the next day. In the first interview, two people interviewed me. They had a list of four behavioral questions and wrote down my answers. After the questions, they asked if I had any questions. We had a good discussion. It took them about two weeks to contact me about an open house this week, which will likely include more interviews. The interview so far was good, but it took them a long time to get back to me.
