I first chatted with a recruiter at a career fair about the job I was looking for. They offered me an interview for the next day. In the first interview, two people interviewed me. They had a list of four behavioral questions and wrote down my answers. After the questions, they asked if I had any questions. We had a good discussion. It took them about two weeks to contact me about an open house this week, which will likely include more interviews. The interview so far was good, but it took them a long time to get back to me.

I reached out to HR for an entry-level position and was advised to apply for a service planner role instead. I completed a HireVue video interview with two questions, one of which asked for my definition of integrity. HR then managed to fit me into an Open House event at the Jupiter office, and I traveled there the following week for interviews. The Open House was a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the position and get a general overview of NextEra's benefits. The day involved half a day of touring and chatting with current employees, including those recently hired in the role, followed by another half day of interviews. There were two 30-minute interview rounds, each with two management-level employees. The interviews consisted entirely of behavioral/situational questions; they had a list of questions they asked while taking notes the entire time, only pausing for my questions. They heavily emphasize safety and integrity, as they are known for their reliability. Most people I met, both interviewers and other candidates, were from local Florida schools or nearby areas. The day ran from 8 am to 4 pm, with lunch between the tour and interview segments. My interviews seemed to go very well, but for some reason, I didn't get the position. I never received any feedback, so I'm unsure why. NextEra is a great company, though, so I'm still looking.

I first heard about the company through a university presentation. I spoke with representatives after the talk and was given an interview for the next day. The following day, I attended the in-person interview and spoke with two company representatives. They asked me questions about my personality, work ethic, and some situational scenarios. I received a job offer about a week after that.
