First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Firehouse Subs.
Sandwich Maker
The interview process was pretty simple and not too long. They asked me about my past experience in jobs where I dealt with customers. They also asked common interview questions about how I'd deal with problems with customers or coworkers.
- Can you tell me about your previous work experience?
- Describe a situation where you had to handle a customer issue.
- How would you approach a conflict or issue with a coworker?
Shift Coordinator
The whole application was handled by AI, and when I showed up at the restaurant, the manager didn't even know I was coming because the AI automatically scheduled interviews without their confirmation. I learned right when I sat down that they were fully staffed and not hiring. So, from applying to getting ready for the interview and then going there, it was all a waste of my time.
- What makes you want to be a part of the Firehouse Subs team?
Sandwich Maker
It was a quick and simple interview process. I was seated in the restaurant and asked some questions about my past experiences and any experience I have in the food industry. The staff were nice and the interview itself was very straightforward and easy.
- Can you tell me about your past experiences?
- Do you have any experience in the food industry?
Brand Marketing Analyst
The interview process was super long and kinda repetitive. We had a basic screening call first, then I met with the hiring manager/team and HR. I went through 4 interviews and only after that did someone look at my resume, which is crazy cause some interviewers admitted they hadn't even seen it before we talked.
- Can you describe how your personal values align with those of Restaurant Brands International?
- Could you share an instance where you made an error and explain the steps you took to manage the situation?
