The interview went very smoothly. Interviewers were all incredibly knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Seemed interested in me and my answers. The recruiter was also helpful and responsive over the course of the many interviews.

It was a monotonous process. The first interview was a recruiter asking basic questions. Then, I interviewed with the hiring manager. The next two interviews were technical, and they were unprofessional. No one used video on the Zoom call, which was strange. They just asked questions for 30 minutes each. The whole experience was underwhelming. They expect very specific answers and have high expectations for interns, who usually don't have field experience. I had to contact the recruiter to find out I didn't get an offer. I wouldn't recommend it.

It was a pretty standard interview process with several rounds. They focused on technical questions and gauging my understanding of the current threat landscape. Since my background is in malware analysis, they asked specific questions about that. They also wanted to know about my past experience and what areas I'm interested in working on.

So, I had 3 technical rounds and then an HR round. Everything was remote because of COVID. The first tech interview was 1 hour, focused on language-specific stuff and some coding. The second tech interview, also 1 hour, was more about OOPs, data structures, algorithms, problem-solving, and some deep Python questions. Then the third round was with the hiring manager, which was 2 hours. Honestly, they were super rude and unprofessional, it was mostly technical (like 85%) with a bit of managerial stuff. They asked me a couple of algorithm questions and to understand some code. Finally, the HR round was 30 minutes for HR questions and salary talk. I decided not to take the offer because of how the manager behaved.

  • Could you explain this code snippet (Merge Sort)?
