So the interview started with me talking to HR just to get acquainted. Then I had a technical screening with an engineer where we talked about the job and my experience, and they asked me some technical questions. After that, I got a home assignment which wasn't too difficult. The next step was a more detailed technical interview with an engineer and the Director of Cybersecurity Operations. Finally, they invited me to their office for a casual chat with HR and my potential team lead, and to meet the team.

The interview process was thorough yet not overwhelming. I appreciated that the questions were closely aligned with the responsibilities outlined in the job description, making the experience feel both relevant and purposeful. I especially enjoyed the technical assessment led by the Senior Director—it was well-structured, and I was given adequate time to study the material and conduct my own research. This not only helped me prepare effectively but also deepened my understanding of the industry. A highlight of the process was getting the opportunity to speak with the co-owner of the company, which was a genuinely pleasant and insightful experience. Overall, the interviewers were clear in their expectations and tailored their questions specifically to the role I was applying for.

I interviewed for the Professional Services team. The whole thing took over a month and a half. First I talked to HR and the VP. Then they told me they were interviewing other people and it'd take at least another week and a half. A week later, the recruiter messaged me for availabilities for another HR interview, but I replied and she ghosted me for days. Then she called to say they'd skip the next HR interview and go straight to references and offer. She got my contract details, and the team lead called to tell me his expectations. After the reference calls, they decided they needed someone more senior. I doubt my references were the issue. It was a really unprofessional and aggravating process.

The interview process was really smooth and organized, big thanks to my recruiter Kiki for the great coordination. Each step had clear goals and they followed up on time, which made things efficient. Honestly, it was the most efficient and well-structured interview process I've been through. The interviewers were super professional, stayed on track, and made sure their questions were relevant to the job. This made for a really productive and engaging chat, helping me focus on what mattered. I really appreciate Kiki's effort in making it professional yet also warm and friendly. Her handling of the interviews made a big difference, and I'm thankful for the experience.
