So I had an initial chat with HR first. Then I did an online technical test covering Python and general ML stuff. After that, it was a live coding session. The last step was a discussion about my past projects and challenges with deploying ML models in the real world.

The process takes about 5 hours and is in-person in São Paulo. First, there's a dynamic for introducing a colleague, then a logical reasoning game in a team, where you have to move cars to free one up. Then, there's an essay, a case study, and an interview. About 10 people are called, and they hold 2 processes per day, so there must be around 50 candidates for a small number of vacancies. The process is extremely extensive, 4 hours of group dynamics, interview, case study, and in the end, they send a copied feedback to all candidates... This is when they send feedback, they just say they are still looking into the possibility of placing you on the team. For the company to pay R$4,500 (below market), I believe the selection process is very extensive.

Group Presentation Technical Behavioral

The whole process was super fast, like only a week from test results to the final panel/interview. It kicked off with a group activity where we did a quick personal intro and talked about the Falconi value we related to most. The group case was about setting up a solution using the PDCA method. Then, about a day or so later, we had the individual case/panel which had to be done within 24 hours. The task was to come up with a fresh idea for one of Falconi's areas, using AI. The presentation and interview part was short, just 10 minutes – 3 mins for the solution pitch and 7 mins for questions about it and general interview stuff.

Group Presentation Behavioral

I participated in a group activity. They asked for a 1-minute presentation and a reading about Falconi's values and the PDCA methodology. At that moment, they gave 2 minutes for a personal presentation and to explain, based on Falconi's values, why you wanted to be an intern. In the activity, they divided us into groups and asked us to use PDCA to apply to a hospital network aiming for customer satisfaction and operations. Then, after 25 minutes, we were asked to adjust the PDCA because new customer data protection measures were required. We had 15 minutes for the adjustment and 5 minutes for the presentation. At the end, they asked one question to each group.
