The owner of the company conducted the interview and he was completely unprofessional. He had a rude and cocky response to every one of my answers to his questions. He never gave me any real details about the job itself and when I asked him specific questions about it he was visibly annoyed that I asked them and gave me rude responses including "I'm not wasting our time by discussing who our clients are" all while giving me one-word answers then asking in a sarcastic tone "does that answer your question?" When it clearly did not answer my question I asked a follow up question to which only annoyed him more. When I asked him specifically if there was any door-to-door selling he lied to my face and said "absolutely not". Do not waste your time with this company, this was by far the most unprofessional interview I have ever been on and I was happy to turn down the opportunity for a second interview.

My interview with EMM went great and they introduced the company well. The interview process is very organized across three rounds. The first interview was brief and an introduction. They asked about my availability, work history, and personality to see if I'd fit the company culture. In the second interview, they had me experience the day-to-day work of EMM employees, which is a unique and honest approach. The third interview covered scheduling, compensation, and potential career growth for entry-level hires. It was a very positive experience.

The interview process and hiring process was super fast for being a 3 round interview process. My first interview was with a manager who talked about hours, the clients they market for, and company culture. After that interview, they set up my second round interview right away. In the second interview, they showed me what the entry level work would look like. Then, they scheduled me for a 3rd interview where they cleared up any remaining questions and wrapped everything up. Overall, the interview and hiring process here is very smooth and professional.

The first interview seemed standard. The assistant manager explained the job like the posting did. They mentioned it was a mix of office tasks like data entry and account updates, and business to business sales. The base pay and benefits sounded good. But, during the second interview, I found out it was actually door-to-door sales for big companies. It's not a customer service rep job at all. I wouldn't have bothered if I knew it was residential door-to-door sales from the start.
