Python Developer
we had a walk-in interview where they asked to write two programming questions in the first round. it was a pen and paper test and everyone was asked different questions.
- Can you reverse a positive and negative integer without using built-in functions?
- Given the string "(())(())(()", what is the count of "()"?
Business Analyst Intern
So, first there was this presentation by the main recruiter and a lead consultant to my club. I chatted with them a bit, then I applied on my school's job site. Later, the recruiter emailed me for an office visit. The interview with the CFO was tough, lots of technical questions about the telecommunications industry and supply chain. Then I had another technical interview with the consultant I met earlier. He asked why I wanted to be a consultant and then straight into diagramming. He initially asked for an ERD, but I said we're learning that next week, so he switched to designing an information system for a restaurant, wanting me to plan and draw out how it would work. He seemed to like my answers and conclusion. About three weeks after that, the recruiter called to let me know I didn't get the job.
- What motivates your interest in consulting?
- Describe the complete supply chain process for ordering a phone, from start to finish.
Programme Analyst
The first step was a recruiter call via Skype where I had to pitch myself and explain why they should hire me. If I passed that, I got a link for an aptitude test. If I passed that too, I got an interview call for an in-person interview in Chennai. Just so you know, every stage is an elimination round, and there's a 3-year bond if you get the job.
- Why should they hire you?
- What are your Oops concepts?
- Do you have any programming questions?
Software Developer
First there was a group discussion, then an aptitude round. After that, a face-to-face technical round, and finally the HR round. They're looking for good communication skills. In the technical round, they asked about stuff on the resume and for me to write a program. The HR round was the usual questions.
- Tell me about programming.
- What do you know about OOPS?
- Do you have questions related to Java?
